John joined FAS in 1997 to serve as the firm’s General Counsel. He has been an Investment Adviser Representative with the firm since 1998. His extensive background in estate planning, taxation and business consulting allows him to serve as FAS’ liaison with a client’s legal, accounting and tax advisers. Since 1972, John has engaged in the practice of law in the Greater Kansas City area and is licensed as an attorney in both Missouri and Kansas.
